Job Details:

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs for compliance of products and processes per regulatory requirements
  • Implement HACCP & SQF programs, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, Food Defense & Security
  • Ensure good manufacturing practices are followed
  • Follow the approved supplier program
  • Perform/inspect plant sanitation including pest control, chemical control, allergen programs, and foreign material control
  • Assist in the implementation of employee training, traceability, and recall programs


Position Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • PCQI certification is preferred
  • Experience in food manufacturing or production is a plus
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good communication skills with personnel
  • Good math skills
  • Good understanding of food safety, sanitation, SOPs, GMPs, HACCP, and SQF is a major asset
  • Willing to be certified in necessary requirements
